How CS2 Gambling Works On Cryptoflip: Crypto In, Skins Out
Cryptoflip is not a skin site in the old sense. You never send it an item and nothing is wagered as a skin. The balance is crypto, the games are a 1v1 coin flip called Original and a multiplier Wheel, and CS2 skins come in at the end, as one of the ways to take a balance out. Here is the whole path, start to finish.
Step one is a crypto deposit, not a skin deposit
Skins cannot be deposited. You fund the account with one of the coins on the deposit page, which covers Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Litecoin, XRP, Tron, Dogecoin, BNB, Bitcoin Cash, USDT and USDC, and the balance credits once the network confirms the transfer. If all you hold is skins, you would need to sell them for crypto somewhere else first.
The balance plays two games
Original is a 1v1 coin flip: pick blue or red, another player matches your wager, and the winner takes the pot minus a 5% house cut. The Wheel is single player: choose a multiplier from 1.01x to 100x and the win chance is derived from it at a 10% house edge. Both settle the moment the round ends.
Every result can be checked afterwards
Before a round you are shown a SHA-256 hash of the server seed, which locks in the inputs. After it settles the seed is revealed, and the verifier on the Provably Fair page recomputes the result in your browser. A result that did not match its published hash would be obvious.
Withdrawing a skin means picking from a live market
The skin withdrawal screen lists items from a live CS2 marketplace, searchable by weapon, finish, rarity and price. You choose what your balance covers, and the item is bought at its listed price and charged to your balance at that same price. Cases, stickers and agents sit in the same catalogue as knives, so a small balance still buys something real.
Delivery is a standard Steam trade offer
You need your Steam trade URL saved in your Cryptoflip profile and a public inventory. The item arrives as a trade offer in Steam, and you accept it there like any other trade. If a trade fails on the way, the item is not charged and the balance comes back.
Steam decides the holds, not the site
An account without Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator active for at least seven days has incoming trades held for up to fifteen days, and newly traded items carry a seven-day cooldown before they can be traded on. Both are Valve rules. No site can waive them, and one that claims it can is telling you something.
Crypto withdrawal is still there
A skin is an option, not a replacement. You can withdraw the same balance to your own wallet as crypto instead, and the exact fee is shown before you confirm.
The short version: crypto in, provably fair games in the middle, and a choice of crypto or a CS2 item on the way out. The CS2 Skins page shows the withdrawal side in more detail, and the deposit pages cover each coin.
