Every coin flip and wheel spin on Cryptoflip is provably fair, which means you can independently verify the outcome instead of trusting the house. You are not taking anyone’s word for it, you are checking the math yourself.
Before a round starts, the server generates a secret server seed and shows you its SHA-256 hash. That hash is a fingerprint that proves the seed was fixed in advance without revealing it. A client seed is combined with it, and a nonce distinguishes rounds that would otherwise calculate the same way.
A coin flip goes one step further: both players’ account IDs are hashed in alongside the seeds. On most sites every input is fixed the moment a game is created, so the outcome is already decided before anyone joins and is identical no matter which opponent turns up. Binding both accounts in means the same creator, the same seeds and the same nonce produce a different flip against a different opponent. The wheel keys an HMAC on the server seed instead, over your client seed and nonce.
After the round resolves, the real server seed is revealed. You can confirm it hashes to the commitment you were shown up front, then recompute the result yourself and check it matches. The verifier on this page runs that maths in your own browser and never asks our server for the answer, because a tool that checks with the house verifies nothing.
