Gambling With BNB: Send On BNB Smart Chain, Not Beacon Chain
BNB is one of the cheapest and fastest ways to fund a gambling balance, and almost every BNB deposit that goes missing goes missing for the same reason: it was sent on the wrong chain. The coin has lived on more than one network, and one of those networks uses addresses that are indistinguishable from Ethereum addresses. Everything else about BNB is easy. This is the part that is not.
BNB Smart Chain is the one you want
BNB Smart Chain, usually shortened to BSC or labelled BEP20, is the network Cryptoflip credits. Its addresses begin with 0x. The older Beacon Chain used addresses beginning with bnb1 and required a memo. If your wallet offers both, and some still do, pick the BSC or BEP20 option every time.
A BEP20 address looks exactly like an Ethereum address
Both are 42 characters starting 0x, and neither one carries any marker saying which chain it belongs to. Nothing in the address itself will stop you sending BNB to an Ethereum-only deposit address, or ETH to a BSC one. The network dropdown in your wallet is the only thing standing between you and a wrong send.
What happens when you send on the wrong chain
The transfer succeeds. It confirms, the explorer shows it as complete, and the money sits at your address on a chain nobody is watching. Recovery is possible only where the recipient controls the private key for that address on that chain, and it is a manual favour rather than a process. Assume it is gone.
Gas is paid in BNB, so keep some spare
Every BSC transaction costs a small amount of BNB, typically cents rather than dollars. If you sweep your entire balance in one transfer you can end up holding tokens you cannot move because there is no BNB left to pay the fee with. Leave a little behind whenever you empty a wallet.
Confirmation is quick
BSC produces blocks every few seconds, so a deposit is usually credited within a minute of you sending it. If it has been considerably longer than that, the problem is almost never congestion. Check the explorer: if the transaction confirmed on a different chain than expected, that is your answer.
BNB moves in price while you play
BNB is not a stablecoin. A balance funded with it is worth whatever BNB is worth, so a session can end up ahead in BNB and behind in dollars, or the reverse. If that bothers you, fund with USDT or USDC instead and leave BNB for the transfer itself.
Check the address every single time
Deposit addresses are generated per user, and clipboard-hijacking malware rewrites a copied address to one that looks similar at both ends. Compare the first and last six characters after pasting, not just the first four. This takes two seconds and is the only defence that works.
BNB is a good rail: fast, cheap and widely held. The single decision that matters is the network dropdown. Choose BNB Smart Chain, verify the address after pasting, and keep a little BNB back for gas.
