How to send XRP from CoinEx

  1. Sign in to Cryptoflip, press Deposit and choose XRP. Copy the address it gives you and the destination tag shown with it.
  2. In CoinEx, open the withdraw screen for XRP. It usually sits under Assets, Wallet or Funds.
  3. Choose XRP on the XRP Ledger as the network. Do not choose BEP-20 XRP.
  4. Paste your Cryptoflip address, then put the destination tag in the tag or memo field. Enter the amount, leaving room for the withdrawal fee.
  5. Confirm with your two-factor or email code. Some exchanges hold the first withdrawal to a new address for a short review.
  6. Your Cryptoflip balance updates on its own once the deposit confirms. The XRP Ledger closes every few seconds, so it usually credits almost at once.
Watch out: If your exchange calls it a tag, a memo or a destination tag, it is the same field. Leaving it blank is the single most common way an XRP deposit is lost.

Questions

How long does a XRP deposit from CoinEx take?

The XRP Ledger closes every few seconds, so it usually credits almost at once. CoinEx can also take a few minutes to process a withdrawal before it reaches the network.

Does Cryptoflip charge a fee for XRP deposits?

No. Cryptoflip does not add a deposit fee. CoinEx charges its own withdrawal fee, which it shows before you confirm.

Is there a minimum deposit?

There is no fixed minimum from Cryptoflip, but very small amounts can be eaten by network fees. The deposit page suggests a minimum for each coin.

What happens if I send on the wrong network?

A deposit sent on any network other than XRP on the XRP Ledger does not reach your Cryptoflip address and may not be recoverable. Match the network to the address you generated every time.

Do I need a destination tag?

Yes. Your Cryptoflip XRP address comes with a destination tag, and CoinEx needs it in the tag or memo field. Without it the deposit cannot be matched to your account.
