Deposit Ethereum from Edge
Edge can send Ethereum (ETH) straight to your Cryptoflip deposit address. Paste the address on the send screen, make sure the network is Ethereum (ERC-20), and your balance credits once the network confirms it.
| Network to pick | Ethereum (ERC-20) |
|---|---|
| Do not pick | Arbitrum, Optimism, Base or BNB Smart Chain, which use the same address format |
| How long it takes | Usually a few minutes once the transaction is in a block. |
| Destination tag | Not needed. |
| Fees | The Ethereum network fee, paid from your Edge. Cryptoflip adds no deposit fee. |
How to send Ethereum from Edge
- Sign in to Cryptoflip, press Deposit and choose Ethereum. Copy the address it gives you.
- Open Edge and select Ethereum.
- Tap Send and paste your Cryptoflip address. Make sure the network is Ethereum (ERC-20), not Arbitrum, Optimism, Base or BNB Smart Chain, which use the same address format.
- Enter the amount. The network fee comes out of your wallet balance and is shown before you confirm.
- Confirm the send.
- Your Cryptoflip balance updates on its own once the deposit confirms. Usually a few minutes once the transaction is in a block.
Watch out: An Ethereum address and an Arbitrum or Base address look the same. The network you pick on the withdrawal screen is what decides whether it arrives.
